2 Hour Pump Competency Workshop
This compact 2 hour class provides a focused, hands-on experience in pump operations. This workshop is ideal for call and combination fire departments with limited training time. The session begins with a brief overview of why pump operations are critical, followed by an introduction to simple pump math relevant to the department. The majority of the class is spent in simulator-based training, allowing students to receive individualized, scenario-driven instruction. This class is perfect for new hires, remedial training, or departments needing a quick but effective refresher on getting water into the line at the correct pressure.

4 Hour Pump Intensive Workshop
Expanding on the fundamentals of the shorter session, this 4 hour class offers a deeper dive into pump operations and can serve as a stand-alone session or a continuation of the 2 hour training. Prior to the session, our lead instructor collaborates with the fire chief to evaluate department priorities and determine the most critical pump operation skills to be covered. This ensures the training directly addresses the challenges faced by the department, whether it’s reinforcing fundamentals, troubleshooting common issues, or refining advanced techniques.
With more time for hands-on simulator exercises, this class enhances both foundational knowledge and practical confidence in pump operations, ensuring firefighters are prepared to initiate water flow effectively during an emergency.
